Student clubs and societies
The Student Council
The aim of the Student Council is to ensure the student experience is comfortable and enriching. The Student Council acts as an umbrella body for student events, clubs, and extra-curricular activities at SSHE. Importantly it is also the link between the students and SSHE management. The Student Council will ensure all student events, activities and interactions are conducted in a manner acceptable to the culture of SSHE.
Extra-curricular activities & student clubs
Extra-curricular activities are for students to have fun whilst allowing personal and professional development. Extra-curricular activities can be funded by SSHE if required and if appropriate. Some previous activities can be found in our gallery here.
Due to the scale of SSHE and ever-changing student demand, extra-curricular activities are organised on an ad-hoc basis and cannot be guaranteed each semester, however, popular and regualr activities are organised in the context of a student club.
Please find below a list of extra-curricular activities and student clubs that have been enjoyed by our students in the past.
Most of these activities are either within walking distance from the campus or are easily accessible with public transport.
