Mark Schumacher, Swiss, has completed a Master degree in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and has a MBA from the Lucerne (Switzerland) Higher Technological Institute of Commerce.
Mark has enjoyed a progressive marketing and general management career in the luxury industry with the Swatch Group and LVMH (alcohols and perfumes/cosmetics). He was also for a couple of years Head of the Swiss Tourism Office in Paris.
In 2005, Mark Schumacher started a consulting practice still active to-day. He counselled several prestigious companies in the luxury business and coached several start-up’s. This naturally led him to academia where he is keen to contribute to the effective working practices of future generations: he teaches in several private Swiss business schools and public higher technological institutes of education. He is also Programme Director for the Master in Luxury Management of the Geneva (Switzerland) Higher Techonological Institute of Education.
